Traditional Art / Paintings / Fantasy

Demeter, the kind Greek goddess of vegetation and the fields. As the mother of Persephone, Demeter withholds her nourishing gifts in the months her daughter spends in the Underworld, and allows the world to burst into bloom each year upon her return. I've shown her fondly surveying her fields and orchards as she tenderly cradles some ears of early harvest corn.
