The gorgeous, apple-green peridot is one of the traditional birthstones for the month of August. In keeping with the beautiful summer green tones of the stone, I've given the Peridot Fairy a nature-oriented Dryad theme.

Reference for the Peridot Fairy comes from the stock of the lovely :iconeyesofunknow-stock:

This is beautiful! I've never seen such a bright, beautiful, and lively depiction of my birthstone! Her dress, and the tiny leaves, are really quite adorable :D Keep up the lovely work!

The loose and long red hair, the pale green of a natural tone...this gemstone art makes me feel so happy looking at it. I love deep greens, and Emerald is my birthstone, but in truth I far prefer this work for August. So beautiful and so well done artistically. The color, the figure, the feeling of the piece, they are all very, very good. I am only sorry I can't give you more precise compliments or critique as I am not an artist myself.

Thank you so much for the beautiful comments! :D I'm happy you like Peridot, to be honest, I had the hardest time with this one. I struggled to find a theme and design for it and everything just mercifully fell into place. She's one of my favorites. :)
